Frequently Asked Questions
Is therapy right for me?
Therapy can be a helpful and supportive space for anyone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, feeling overwhelmed, or just curious about personal growth, therapy might be a good fit. You don’t have to be in crisis to start or seek support. If you’re feeling stuck, struggling with your emotions, or want to understand yourself better, therapy can offer clarity, practical tools, and a judgment-free space to explore what’s going on inside your mind or body and build more balance, confidence and resilience.
It’s normal to feel unsure and we are here to answer any questions you might have. We encourage you to reach out to schedule a consultation to help you determine whether therapy is the right next step and answer any question that you might have.
Is sex therapy right for me?
Sex therapy can be helpful for anyone looking to better understand or feel more confident in their sexual and relational life. We recognize that sex and intimacy, whether with yourself or a partner, can feel deeply personal and vulnerable. You don't need to be in crisis or experiencing a specific issue to benefit from sex therapy. Through sex therapy, we can address and support concerns or curiosity around desire, arousal, communication, body image, sexual pain, or trauma. Whether you're exploring on your own or with a partner, and regardless of your gender, orientation, or relationship structure, sex therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts and emotions with curiosity and care.
What if my concerns aren’t about sex—can I still work with you?
Absolutely! While we specialize in sex therapy, many clients come to us for support with anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, or simply wanting to feel more confident and connected. You don’t need to have a specific “issue” to benefit, therapy is a space to explore whatever feels important to you, at your own pace.
What states are you licensed to practice in?

Where is your office located?
We conduct in-person sessions in the Flatiron district of Manhattan.
Are telehealth/virtual sessions an option?

What is your fee?
Our fees range from $150 to $275, depending on whether we are working together individually or as a couple. Financial concerns don’t have to prevent anyone from accessing therapy. We understand that navigating insurance and payment options can be overwhelming, and we are here to help with that process. We offer a flexible fee structure tailored to your insurance benefits, working closely with clients to explore available coverage and reimbursement options that your plan offers. If you have questions or need support understanding your benefits, please don't hesitate to reach out—we are happy to walk you through it.
Do you take insurance?
We are not in-network with insurance providers; however, we offer hands-on support to help you navigate your out-of-network benefits. Over 80% of the clients that we work with are eligible for partial reimbursement. We will provide you with a detailed superbill that includes all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance provider.
To find out what your plan covers, here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider about out-of-network mental health benefits:
What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of that deductible have I already met?
What is the coverage period for my current plan (e.g., calendar year or policy year)?
Once my deductible is met, what percentage of each session is reimbursed (also known as my co-insurance rate)?
Are there specific forms or procedures I need to follow to submit a reimbursement request?
How much time do I have to submit a superbill after my session?
If they ask for billing codes (CPT codes), here’s what to share:
90834 for individual therapy
90847 for couples or family sessions
90846 for family psychotherapy (without patient present)
